BRUTAL: Open LICENSE.txt at Section 2.2

This chapter finds section <strong>2.2</strong> in <code>LICENSE.txt</code>. The next chapter copies whether that section requires a written waiver before the logo can be skipped. You do not publish a build in either chapter.

Why this matters now

The <a href="https://github.com/ahwootech/BRUTAL/blob/main/LICENSE.txt">BRUTAL license</a> on the public repo is the file that ships with the framework. Section 2.2 is the logo rule. Read that section before anyone treats the rest of the file as “just MIT.”

<strong>You will do:</strong> open <code>LICENSE.txt</code> and find the heading <code>2.2</code>.

<strong>Time:</strong> about <strong>5 minutes</strong>.

Prerequisites

  • The <code>LICENSE.txt</code> from <a href="https://github.com/ahwootech/BRUTAL">ahwootech/BRUTAL</a> <code>main</code>, or a local clone of that file
  • No build upload open

Find 2.2

  • Open <code>LICENSE.txt</code>.
  • Find the line that starts with <code>2.2</code>.
  • If that section is missing, stop.
  • Do not edit the file. Do not publish a build.

<strong>Check:</strong> section 2.2 is on screen, or you stopped because it was not in the file.
