Meshy: Confirm the Prop Is Static

This chapter names the model you will remesh. The next chapter runs Generate → Remesh → Texture and records a size under 20 MB. Sending to a live Roblox place is not part of either chapter.

Why this matters now

Meshy’s Bridge to Roblox accepts static models only. Rigged or animated meshes are not supported on this bridge yet. The integration page states the same limit, and Roblox accepts models up to 20 MB.

You will do: pick one static prop and write that it is not rigged.

Time: about 8 minutes.

Prerequisites

 • A Meshy account in the browser
 • One prop you can throw away

Write the prop down

 • Open the Meshy project that holds the prop.
 • Confirm it is a static object: no skeleton, no animation.
 • If the prop is a character that needs to move, stop. Keep it off this bridge.
 • Write the prop name. You will not click Send to Roblox tonight.

Check: the name is one static prop, or you have written that this model is rigged and you will not continue.

Common mistakes

 • Starting with a hero character because it is the mesh you care about.
 • Treating “no desktop app” as permission to skip the static check.
 • Opening Send before you know the file size.

Where to go next

A static prop is the only mesh this bridge is for. Write the name before you remesh.
